There is a cool free app I just got called Draw Something. The app gives you 3 choices of what to draw an easy option a medium option and a hard option. New Blog Im in LOOVE with- Dancing for Jesus

Hey girlies,
One of my amazing Christian friends and my faithful blog follower Loren Campbell created a new blog called dancing for jesus. This blog is a Christian blog and a dance blog, but even if you are not a dancer you will still love it! Hey everybody! Thanks for checking out my blog. First of all I want to tell you guys to check out my friend Ashley's blog. It's called Pray LOVE Live.  Ok so next I just want to tell you what to expect from this blog. It's a Christian dance blog but anyone is welcome to read it of course! And some of the things I'm going to do on this blog are give dancing tips, put up links to videos of amazing dancers, just chat about the latest dance news, and more! But most of all what i want you to get out of this blog is; just like everything else in our lives, we do this for christ. So let's get started!

Ok so this first video may seem to go against the morals I just mentioned. It's a competition dance to Single Ladies by Beyonce. These girls are only seven years old but they are amazing. Their costumes and dance moves are a little mature but if we look past that, we can really appreciate this dance and the amazing talent in these girls! This blog is going to be a little different than the rest because it's the first one and I'm still getting used to everything. But I'm hoping to put a blog up twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Also, something I want to do each week is set a goal; one for dancing and one for God.

Dancing GOAL of the Week: Do 100 releves at home every day to strengthen my ankles.

Sing for the lord

Hey Girls,

In church worship I always feel a little uncomfortable singing. As much as I love to sing it still feels a little awkward so I usually just quietly mouth the words or very softly sing them but, when doing my devotions I learned big lesson: dont be afraid to sing out the Lord's praises. When we sing for the Lord he enjoys it and who doesn't want to please the Lord. How would you feel if at your birthday party people quietly sang Happy birthday or just mouthed it. Not so good but if people sang loudly and with energy for you it would make you feel honored, same with the Lord. So during church, youth group, or even at home in your room SING for the Lord. He created you and sent his son to die for you we should just do him the smallest favor and sing for our great God.We shouldnt feel embarrassed to sing for our Lord. Obviously everyone else at church loves the Lord. So inspire the shy quiet girl to join you in belting out song for the Lord!!!

Bible Study Update

Jusg making sure everyone is aware that tomorrow is bible study at Shannon's house. Great Books

 Hey girlies,
 I just finished some amazing books that you should definitely read if you haven't already!
Heres my favorite books of all time ( in order of greatness)

The Hunger Games:
To make the summary short, this takes place in the future when North America is a country called Panem. It's made up of 12 districts. Every year the country holds what is called "The Hunger Games". Every district sends a boy and a girl to represent the district and they all fight for their lives. The Hunger Games are televised for everyone else to see. We follow Katniss as she represents her district and tries to win by being the last one alive


I know it sounds kind of bad but its the best book ever!








The Help:

Challenge for this week

Here is a challenge for you! I know you can do it.
Whether at school, the store, extra curricular activities,wherever the challenege is to make friends or be kind to someone who isnt very popular, or gets made fun of, or is lonely, or sad, or doesn't know Jesus. You don't really have to full on preach the word of God to them but just be friendly and that will witness for him just as well as preaching the gospel. Here are some verses that inspired me to do this.

"Live in peace with each other. Do not be proud but make friends with those who seem unimportant."

"But before people can ask the Lord for help they must believe in Him, and before they can believe in Him they must hear about Him, and for them to hear about the Lord someone must tell them"

Prayer and the new verse of the week

Sometimes I find prayer really overwelming. i have so many things to thank God for, to ask him for, to praise him for and I get so overwelmed but as I was reading my Bible today I found some verse that I love. It is an actual prayer that God says is an example for how your prayer should go and I loved it.

Dear Our father in Heaven,
may your name always be kept holy. May your kingdom come and what you want to be done, here on Earth like it is in Heaven. Give us the food we need for each day. Forgive us for our sins, just as we have forgiven those who sinned against us.Do not cause us to be tempted but save us from the Evil One. The kingdom,power,and glory are yours forever.

So basically, all worries that go beyond this prayer he already knows and will take care of them!!


Here is the new verse of the week that I found also in Matthew. I love that Book of the Bible:)

If you love only the people who love you,you will get no reward and if your only nice to your friends you are no better than other anyone else. Even those who do not know God are nice to their friends.

I like this verse because it is sooo true I am always nice to my friends but sometimes when it comes to my family the people who love me most I am not as nice as I am to my friends so this verse reminds me to be nice to EVERYONE!

Bible Stud 1: My Biggest Role Model:Demi Lovato

Hey Girls,
 As well as Demi Lovato's amazing music (especially the Unbroken album) she is a great Christian girl who inspires me and I thought this would be a great lesson for the new Bible Study! Demi was battling eating disorders,depression,and she was unhappy with her body image which caused her to make a few bad desicions. She chose to go to rehab and get her life back on track and she says that God helped her turn her life around and become an amazing music artist and the great person she is today: Here is a small note she wrote that I thought was inspiring (also don't forget if you haven't already to download the Unbroken album of hers you will not be dissapointed!)


"As many of you know, last year at this time, I was in treatment. I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year away from my home and family which is why I am so excited to be with them this year. Thinking about how far I have come in a year makes me so thankful. I could not have done this without God and the amazing support from my family. They have stuck by me through everything and love me just the way that I am. That is a wonderful feeling to know that people accept the real you. Honestly, I am thankful for my life path, including the highs and the lows, because it has caused my true self to shine through. Going to treatment was a gift and I believe it saved my life. I learned how to be strong and healthy even through struggles. It also helped me open up about my issues and share them with others. Knowing that my family, friends and fans accept me for who I am is the greatest feeling ever!
What a difference a year makes - I cannot believe I'm out on tour again! I just got done with my first show in Detroit. What an amazing crowd! Sometimes I cannot believe how lucky I am to be on the road and doing what I love every night. I am even going to perform in my hometown, Dallas, over the Thanksgiving holiday. I am so excited to spend Thanksgiving with my family in Texas. They are so much fun! Every Thanksgiving my entire family (about 50 people) gather around and eat tons of food and talk for hours. Since I do not get to visit Dallas as much as I would like, I really appreciate my time there with everyone.
I am so thankful that I am healthy and happy this year. I no longer take things for granted, like my family, friends, fans and career. Each day is special to me and I take each day one day at a time.
Sometimes people get busy and forget to enjoy the moment - but I know I will not do that this holiday season. I have worked very hard to get to the place I am today and I am going to enjoy every minute of it! I wish all of you a very happy and healthy New Year.

New Online Bible Study I am starting!

Hey girlys! Omigosh! I am sooo excited to start a bible study on my blog. You do not have to be committed to anything go anywhere and just simply visit my website to get a full bible study lesson ISNT THAT COOL:) For about 2-5 months we are going to be discussing a topic I felt was very appropriate for this age. It is called:Self Worth,Self Beauty,Living Happy,Living for God!
As girls we need to be confident in ourselves we need to know that God sees us as beautiful and we are worthy to Him,our creater and that God created us in his image. Mostly just how to live happy and know your worth and your beauty and strive to be just like God. Yes, we should most definitely put God and helping others before ourselves in life but we need to feel confident about ourselves to be our best and feel awesome to be amazing girls ready to serve the Lord! This is Bible Study 1 so every time I head a post with Bible Stud 1 then this is the topic we are discussing. I am hoping to start a Bible Study 2 on a different topic but we will have to see in about a month or so if it will be too much doing 2! Pleaasse PLEASE Please I am begging you will all my heart and soul to reccommend this blog girls I was ready to stop my blog today because I feel as if all the work I am putting into this is going to waste if nobody is coming on my site so it would mean the WORLD to me if you would just comment now and then and lemme know that you are actually reading this and/or learning something. In the bible: Romans

Hey girls I have a confession to make...... I have always thought the Bible was BORING! All the names and cities and history just felt like I was sitting in history trying to zone out. I have always wanted to just read the Bible and understand it and I found a solution. About a month ago I ordered a bible online at Christian Book.com called the  Revolve Devotional Bible. It is a teen girl bible translated in New Century form (the easiest to read) and it wasn't crazy expensive between $10-$13 so its great (cept for the fact that I ordered it a month ago and it just got here today)! Today I read all of Romans and I loved it. Romans is my favorite chapter of the Bible although as I said I havent read much of the bible before I got this one. I love the history it gives you on each chapter this is waht Romans said


Paul heard through the grapevine that some Christians in Rome were twisting the truth of the Good News into a liscence to live crazy wicked lives. Their messup-up logic was, "Since our sins are covered by the blood of Christ and we're already forgiven, lets go hog wild and do wahtever we want! And because Paul couldn't get there in person he picket up his pen and. through the direction of the Holy Spirit, wrote this letter to set them straight. He covered three main topics in this letter; the natural sinfulness of all humankind, the way God provided out of sin through Jesus, and how Christians should live after trusting in Christ. Instead of being a historical book, Romans is a deep study of Gods amazing grace!

I really love the three main topics and think if you are a new Christian or if you have already accepted Jesus as your savior this chapter is short, to the point, and worth reading! Romans is a good place to start in the Bible and for me was pretty much Christianity in a nutshell!

I love this verse because school is just coming back from winter break (  well its been a week already GOSH this week went by fast!) but anyway I like this verse because it tells you to set an example for others by doing good works and I think this is the most important way of witnessing for God around others at 
school,dance,art,piano,at home, WHEREVER AND WHENEVER!

You can have fun and be Christian!

Sometimes I feel like being a Christian means being perfect and doing everything Christian all the time although it doesn't. I sometimes feel it means you cant gush about boys,wear makeup, talk about your teachers and how unfair it is that you have so much homework the first day of school ( if your reading this Ms. Goad that was soo not coo!l)  Sometime I feel you can't talk about fashion and go on celeb gossip websites and you have to read Christian stuff in your spare time and go on Christian websites but thts not what being Christian is about! You need to be a girl a pre-teen girl for that matter and do all of tht stuff:) God wants you to have fun but just make sure you don't leave him out. I try to devote 15 minutes  on really busy nights up to an hour on not so busy nights to God. If that means writing my blog, doing my devotion books, going on Christian websites, and listening to Christian music sometimes but other times I just listen to Ke$ha and Katy Perry ohh and dnt forget about JB! You do not have to be doing everything perfect all day just remember that God is a serious thing and should be #1 priority but also have fun with yourself and be a girl:)

Btw- I went to the peoples choice awards last night AHHHMAZINNNG show! Demi Lovato's performance was amazing ! I love her even more because she went to rehab for anorexia and cutting herself but got out of it and came out a better person devoted to her music and then had a bunch of success and she knew to never give up and that God was always with her so she actually asked to go to rehab and get help to start a better life. I think thats amazing how she was so upfront with the world,her fans, and the media and God blessed her so everyone supported her the whole way through:) shes an amazing role model with a great voice!

My Weekly Blessings:)

Hi Girls!! Just so you know I didn't blog for about a week because I was at my grandparents house, then I was really sick, and then I went to church camp and now I am getting back to bloggin!!!! Before I do I wanted to tell everyone that bible study is rescheduled for Jan. 18th instead of tom. because many girls including myself could not make it that night!! I know I am talking about  me alot but I wanted to share with you something that really blessed me is that when school started out our class was finding out our partners for science fair! If you get a bad partner your whole month of science fair could be ruined so this was really important:) Everyone was nervous so we all held hands and prayed as a group us girls! It really blessed me that all of us were praying aloud in front of everyone and I am really excited that all us girls glorified God right then so anyone who prayed with me thank you sooo much for helping to shine Gods light with me and be a witness of the Lord for a few non-believers that saw us doing that! Okay another blessing was Church Camp! It was up in the mountain and I went with Northpoint church ( my friend Kate's church that I sometimes go to on Sundays) but anyway it really  taught me alot and I had soo much fun so thank you Kate for inviting me!! I also wanted to share a couple lessons that really made me think hard and alotta questions were answered so I thought maybe it would help you all too!

The first night we learned that Satan has many deceptions and one of them  is evolution! So when in school your teacher or anyone tells you that we evolved from monkeys or we just appeared on this Earth it is not true because in the Bible it says that God created us ! Gen. 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth "


The second day we learned that God created us in HIS image! This lesson really hit hard! You are Gods child and created how he wants you to be. Also I am  guilty of this one:( but God loves everyone equal so when you start to think that someone is not as good as you because you am a good student and never get in trouble and they do or, you always encourage people and they degrade people remember that God says he loves everyone equal because we are his child. Isn't that amazing! God is sooo good! So from now on I will remember that I am equal to everyone in Gods eyes and even though God might not love somebodies choices he still loves them as much as he loves me!  


That night we learned about his mercy and how Jesus died for us on the cross!! Also how to be saved you have to confess that you are unworthy and a horrible sinner while Jesus was perfect and that Jesus is Lord! Then pray and ask God for forgiveness for all your sins and he will erase all that sin! The example the speaker gave was imagine you have to carry a 20 ton bucket and run! We all know that we cannot do that so instead of trying to carry that big burden on your own if you confess you can not do it on your own and say you need Jesus because he is Lord and can do anything God will not just help you lift that burden he will take it completely away from you. As you might have figured out the 20 ton bucket was sin so just ask God to help you and that sin will be lifted off your shoulders.

Those are the 3 main lessons I learned a camp but mainly just LOVE one another! Compliment each other and just LOVE everyone!

I am saving my money to sunscribe to the Girls Life mag its only 10 bux for a year!!! It comes every other month and it is a great mag so if u get 10 bux thts a great thing to spend it on:)

Happy new years

Hey everyone this New year is going to be the best year yet! I have so many resolutions that I am determined to follow:) Here are some of my 2012 rezzies
1. Eat healthier
If any of you have this resolution then I am going to share some advice. If you completely take out desserts chips and soda this year you will crave them even more and when you splurge you will go crazy with the sugar so I came up with a simple plan to help me eat healthier without totally cutting out my favorite treats:
*only 1 dessert a day at the most
*only have soda once every 2 weeks ( i hate the idea of drinking your calories and soda is something I can live without)
* only have chips with meals once a week

2.Get in shape for dance
I am exercising with my dad in our home gym once a day to get in shape because I am starting dance soon and I need a stronger core!

3. Do my devotions every day

4.Call my grandparents once a week
My grandparents live so far away that we hardly see each other so this 2012 I am going to try to call them once a week and catch up

5.Do my chores EVERY day and donate money to charity
I get 50 cents a day each day I make my bed and feed my dog so if I did my chores every day that is 15 dollars a month:) Every other month I am going to donate all my chore money for that month to a charity and the other month I am going to get something for myself

6.Be a better blogger
I am going to try to blog every other day and blogging is something I love to do so it shouldn't be that hard to do and  I really want my readers to go on more this New Year!!

Also,hope you all had a blessed Christmas and are having a wonderful New Year (so far!)

 I cannot make it to the bible study on Jan.11th so please still plan to go on Jan.11th although the date probably will change so I will keep you updated on that. That night me and my mom are going to the People's Choice awards in La for my Christmas present so I can't miss that sry:(
