World Vision Charity

Hi Everyone,
This holiday season I decided I didn’t want presents but instead I wanted to help people less fortunate than I. I found an amazing charity called World Vision and knew that I wanted to change these kid’s lives. World Vision is a Christian charity that helps needy and starving children all over the world. Tons of children are living in poverty. Nearly 9 million kids will die before they turn five years old. By donating to World Vision you can provide livestock for families that will provide transportation, eggs, milk, and cheese for starving children. We can also give clean water and provides these children healthcare and a good education for a better future. Please consider sponsoring me and my effort to support these suffering kids with food and a brighter future ahead of them. Every penny goes towards making a child’s life better and it feels great to help others during the holiday season. My goal is to raise 500 dollars for this charity. Anything you can give will help so please respond back if you are able to donate. Thank you so much!

How this relates to God:
God tells us not to be selfish but to help the needy and I am trying my hardest to follow Gods commands!
In Deutronomy 15:11 it says- "there will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in the land"
In Isaiah 58:10 it says-"Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. "
In Acts 20:35 it says- "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive."
And finally, in Proverbs 19:17 it says- "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed"

These verses really made me want to give back because that is excactly what God tells us to do and I hope you choose to give back this holiday season too!
