App Review: Jetpack Joyride
Hey girls,
The other day I was bored and on the app store on my Itouch and came across an app called Jetpack Joyride by Halfbrick Studios. It is so addicting!! In the game you are in a little jet and try to doge electrical fields and stuff while earning coins to buy new power-ups. It is really an amazing game that will provide hours of entertainment! Best part is: IT'S FREE!
What critics have to say:
"This application is currently free at the time of the review, and it is defiantly worth the download. It is a game that is enjoyable to play and is playable for ages as you want to beat your current score. There are also missions which makes the game last longer and makes you want to complete these."
"Grapics are wonderful! I Love it!"
Sooo,,,, hurry and download Jetpack Joyride while it is free!!! And have fun:)

HONK! : The Musical
Hey girls,
Today I went and saw CAT (Christian Arts Theater's) production of Honk! The play was the story of the ugly duckling but was for all ages and really well put on. CAT is a great Christian organization and puts on the best shows. Performances are held at Corona Civic Auditorium, 815 W. 6th St. in Corona.
The dates are:
Friday, March 9th at 7pm
Saturdays, March 10th at 2pm & 7pm1
Sunday, March 11th at 2pm
Saturdays, March 10th at 2pm & 7pm1
Sunday, March 11th at 2pm
This is a show you do not want to miss. I think I covered everything tickets are 14 dollars for adults and 12 for kids and if you buy them at the door it is an extra 2 dollars but it is all worth it... this is definitely a show you do not want to miss. I have been a part of this organization for about 3 years and just decided to move on to dance at JPD but this place offers great classes! If you are interested in taking classes in acting, singing, dancing, or all three CAT is the place to go. Great kids, instructors, and it is Christian! Once you are enrolled in a class you can audition for the big productions too! The CAT website for more information on how to sign up for classes or information about the current show HONK is online at
Hope you can go and see it or maybe even sign up for classes! The spring session sign ups just started so your not too late:)
Love ya

King Solomon's Wish
Hi God Girls!,
Most of you don't know who King Solomon is! I didn't until I read my Bible and devotions today. I've always knew the name from the Bible but never fully understood what made this man so special. So today I am going to tell you so you can try to be more like this wonderful man of God.
God gave King Solomon one wish to better his life. He could have chosen riches, power, good looks, love, fame, long life but no, instead King Solomon chose to possess wisdom! Isn't that cool that this man chose such a wise wish to come true. God was so impressed with him that he gave him even more wisdom than anyone to help the King better rule his people in a Godly way. Wisdom changed everything for him. It changed how he acted, thought, and brought him much success! How often do you try to grow in wisdom? try to look in God's word to make wise decisions about the trials in your life and like King Solomon you will have a very great life and make the best choices to be a light for God
Verse:
That night God appeared to Solomon. He said , "What can I give you? Solomon responded to God...." Give me wisdom and knowledge so that I may lead my people.
2 Chronicles 1:7-8
Verse of the week:
This verse also kind of goes along with this and being a light through your knowledge and wisdom for God. It is...
Matthew 5:16
You should be a light for other people. Live so they will see the good things you do and will praise your father in heaven.
Today look up King Solomon and see what you can find on him. Look in your Bible, devotions, or Christian online websites! Comment and share with me and other blog readers what you found! I would love to hear from you all:)

Word of the week: mercy
This word is used hundreds of times in the Bible it is time to dig a little deeper and find what exactly mercy is!
- Mercy--not getting what you do deserve / withheld punishment
- Mercy is like a judge finding you guilty, but then withholding any punishment. Grace is getting something you could never have imagined. An inexplicable gift. It's like the same judge awarding you $10,000,000.00, after finding you guilty!
"And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives."
Jude 22:23
Jude 22:23
"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."
Matthew 6:7
Matthew 6:7
"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Micah 6:8
Micah 6:8
"Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!"
James 2:12-13
James 2:12-13
Ex 33:19 (NIV) ..."I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion."
Weekly Challenge: So this week I challenge you to have mercy on others like God has mercy on you. Just walk away if someone does something mean or reply with a nice comment that they didn't deserve.

Bible Stud 1: Being healthy
Hey! So this bible study is about self image and how you are made in God's image. God thinks you are beautiful no matter what but you will be a happy and much healthier more confident girl if you make some healthy choices Today we are going to talk about working out, eating right, and some resources to better help you.
Do not worry about what the number on the scale says, make healthy choice to better your life and how you feel about yourself and remember.... muscle weighs more than fat!!!
2. Do NOOOOT starve yourselves
Some girls feel like skipping a meal or not eating as much will help them.... THAT IS NOOOT TRUE! You should eat 5 times a day; a light breakfast, light snack, light lunch, light snack, light dinner. Studies show that when you eat more in smaller portions you burn more calories and you are healthier
3. Diet soda is still bad for you.
Girls... do you really need to drink soda?? Water is absolutely all your bodies need so why drink more than that. All soda's and most juice is very bad for you and should be the first thing to eliminate from your diet
4. Have everything in moderation.
You do not have to be so strict or hard on yourselves, as long as you have everything in moderation (which means not too much and not too little you can have that cookie but just not the whole bag of cookies. And if you are craving something sweet dark chocolate is better for you than most sweets because it provides antioxidants to get all the toxins that are infecting your body out of you!
5. God's food is there for a reason... eat whole foods
God gave us fruits and veggies for a reason so take responsibility for yourself and eat as much fruits and veggies as possible... anything packaged is probably not good for you!
6. You can create your menu!
You don't have to eat bad when you go out to restaurants, in fact you can usually order healthier options not on the menu. If your having pizza ask for whole grain crust, if your having pasta ask for whole grain noodles. In sandwiches and salads get more veggies and less meat and for sandwiches get whole grain bread.
7. Exercise!!!
No matter what you eat you can't get healthy without exercise!!
8. Be aware of what you eat
Before you put anything in your mouth you should know the nutrition facts and make an informed decision if you actually want to put that in your body! Sometimes you will decide that a certain food isn't worth eating. For an example, you think salads and protein bars are good for you but ranch, fried chicken, bacon, and other ingredients in salads can make them as bad as a Big Mac!? And protein bars are great for energy but most are high in sugar. I get protein bars called Detour lower sugar bars and they seriously taste as good as a Snicker bar no kidding!!!
1. jumprope ( 10 mins of jump rope burns 100 calories)
2. plank ( great ab workout do your plank for 30 seconds to a minute)
3. running ( great fat burner)
4.push ups- I VEEERY VEEERY VERRRY VERY MUCH DISLIKE push-ups but you gotta do em:(
5. sit-ups or crunches - oh yes! the classic sit-up definitely makes my top 10!
6.dancing- just making up a dance in your room, watching a youtube video that teaches you a routine, playing dance video games such as Just Dance, or signing up for a few classes is sooo fun and a great workout!
7.scissors- to do a scissor you make a small cross with your feet and then spread them out to improve your flexibility and then just use your abs you pull them up.
8.wall sit- put your back against a wall and bend your legs like your sitting in a chair and then hold in there use your leg and ab muscles to stay there. ( I do this while brushing my teeth and it is a great way to work out while doing simple tasks)
9.bike- just ride your bike around the neighborhood or work out on a mechanical bike in a gym or maybe you have one at home!
10. lunges- put some 5-10 pound weights in your hands and lunge switching your legs.

Ipod app
- I love an iPod app called Lose it! it is free and it helps counting calories, fat, sugar, and protein content in your food and gives you your average calorie intake a day ( yours should be around 1,400-1,700)
This is a great ab workout video and is only 10 minutes:)
-P90x is a cool workout training video as well!
I went to a nutrition class at my dance studio once and this professional nutritionist and dancer Caroline Lewis knew a lot of little things about eating healthy here is her website

30 second devotional cards that I love
Hey my loves!! Happy March 1st ,
I always get all excited the first of the month it feels like a new start! Anyway, I have these really cool cards called 101 days to knowing God for girls and they are little cards that can sit on your nightstand that have a mini like 30 second devotion and a verse on them. These are great little lessons that really make me think and are excellent on super rushed days, mornings, or the end my night with God's word. I got them for 3-4 dollars at Berean Christian book store but they sell them lots of other places. Here are a few cards found in the set that I really loved!
"When your having one of those nights when your scared, remember that God is on guard watching out for you and protecting you. He loves you completely and is keeping you safe."
Verse: " I will lie down and sleep in peace for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety Psalm 4:8"
" It is not easy to control your emotions- especially anger. But God's way is to treat others with love. So swallow your anger and do not jump to reactions that make you angry. Ask God to help you"
Verse: " Always be willing to listen and slow to speak. Do not become angry easily, because anger will not help you live the right kind of life God wants. James 1:19-20"
So those are some of my favorite cards I wanted to share!
My Tip Of the Month:
Write a list of 5-10 bad habits (we all have some) then pray and ask God to help you do better with those. Each day you go without doing a bad habit give yourself one point (ex. if you have 7 bad habits and do not do 5 of them you get 5 good points) and if you give in to one of those habits you get a bad point ( so then the 2 bad habits you did would cause you 2 bad points). Then at the end of the week, month, year or whatever time you decide to do this chart add up the good and bad points and see how the Lord has helped you improve your bad habits!
Cool Verse about LOVE!!
1 Corinthians 13:7 NLT
Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
I like this verse especially because in the past I have had some friends who had been really kind to me just to get something from me or just nice on their "good days" but this verse teaches to be like God and to love that person through every trial and circumstance you may go through!
Okay girlies talk to you later! Enjoy your wonderful March 1st and lets see where the month of March will lead us in our spiritual life!

Home Alone
I find this one very helpful when I am scared at home alone it says.."When your having one of those nights when your scared, remember that God is on guard watching out for you and protecting you. He loves you completely and is keeping you safe."
Verse: " I will lie down and sleep in peace for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety Psalm 4:8"
React well to anger
I like this one because I am very guilty of saying mean stuff or things I do not mean when I am mad and this one really helped!" It is not easy to control your emotions- especially anger. But God's way is to treat others with love. So swallow your anger and do not jump to reactions that make you angry. Ask God to help you"

Postin on leap day!
Happy leap day or leap year or whatever!
So i have a really cool story to share! A really good Christian author Ann Margret Hovsepian that wrote that devotional Truth or dare I was telling you about contacted me and said she would send me a free copy to check out and review for you all!!!!
So when Ive read a few i am going to post a super cool review on what i thought about it! Seems like a really cool book from the preview online!
So anyway one of my besties Loren shared something really cool with me i felt like I should share it with you so here it goes...
I sometimes find the Old Testament and even the New Testament in the NKJ version a teensy weensy boring and kind of don't look forward to reading God's word.... which nobody should NOT want to read the Bible. So Loren said that one day while reading the Bible she thought I should enjoy my time with God and there has to be a better way to study his word! And then God spoke to her saying that you absolutely do not need to read the Bible beginning to end to be a good Christian you just have to learn God's word and there are multiple ways to do that..
1. Read a Bible made specifically for girls or teens and try to get either the New Century Version or the New International Version because those are made easier to read so you will enjoy them more.
2. DO DEVOTIONS!! This is my favorite way because they teach you the Bible in a super comprehensible way and highlight big points that are also very applicable to your life!
3. Go on Christian websites. Like mine, Christian websites help you with your spiritual life in a great way and are a better choice online then websites like social websites, gaming websites, and websites like YouTube not that I do not love all of those!
4. Another big one, PRAY! Just pray and talk to God, listen to God and meditate on his word.
Steps to meditating on God's word
(aka. meditating is not like sitting with your legs crossed and your fingers making circles it is just having quiet time with God)
1. study a verse, or word/ concept in the Bible
2. pray about the verse and ask God for clarity
3. Just sit and wait and listen to God's answer.
So just remember that reading the Bible is a wonderful, amazing, super good thing that will help your spiritual life a lot but it is not the only way to knowing God and his word!
Verse of the Week
This week I have 2 verses to share with you:
1 Corinthians 10:13
But remember, that the temptations that come into your life are no different that what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give into it.
AND... special shout out to my friend Kate for sending me this verse ( remember you can send me a favorite verse and I may use it as a verse of the week and send you a shout out)
Nahum 1:7
The Lord is good. Giving protection in times of trouble- he knows who trusts him.
So thats about it! I love you all!!

Amazing devotional! I love all of Hayley Dimarco's books and her website www.godgirl.com is great!
2. 12 Months of Faith: a devotional journal for teens
By: Bettie B. Youngs, Jennifer Leigh Youngs, Debbie Thurman
This book is divided into weekly sections and has questions and devotion passages packed with applicable verses. Really good devo!

3.The One Year Devotionals for girls
By: "The One Year company"
I really love the One Year devotion books. It tells a story about a girl that learns a Christian lesson and what she is going through. Then, it gives you advice to apply to your life and some of the daily devotions and verses are really great!
4. Grace for The Moment
By: Max Lucado
This daily devotion book has very short devotional reading with a verse and a lesson and are great because they only take 1 to 2 minutes each.
With Family
The One Year Mother Daughter Devos
By: Dannah Gresh
This book really is great to connect with your mom! I love how it gives you activities to do and gives you good questions to ask each other based on the daily devotion. It is a great 5 minutes out of your day to grow in your mom daughter relationship and your relationship with God.
(for younger siblings)
Step in to the Bible
By: Ruth Graham
My 6 year old brother and I try to do these every night. There are 100 devotions translated very easy so kids can understand stories of the bible and how to apply them to your life. It also gives you a memory verse for the week that my brother loves to work on and memorize and has very simple questions based on the devotional reading.
* Another great thing to do with younger siblings is to get a bible story book. My brother begs and looks forward every night to reading his Bedtime Bible Stories for kids. Most bible story books will be translated easy and fit helps to find one with some basic questions about the book
A book I do not have but am saving up to buy is called Truth and Dare: One Year of Dynamic Devotions for girls By: Ann- Margret Hovsepian. I read a preview of 3 devotions and they already gave me some good advice!
Hope you enjoy these devotions! I have all of them listed and do them everyday ! They really help me with blog ideas, good tips, advice, cool verses, and just improve my spiritual life and increase my faith. Hope you can get a few! The best place to buy them at is Christianbook.com because they are much cheaper and Amazon.com is a great online store. They also have a bunch of these and more Christian books at Berean christian book store by the Tyler Mall.
Love you all!!!

Bible Study 1: YBP
I am glad to get back to our online bible study (check posts below if you dont know what I am talking about)
This is a really cool Christian poject I challenege every single one of you to do to help pthers realize their self worth and self beauty. When you go to any public restroom keep some post- its that say an encouraging message on them in your purse or your pocket or really anything you take practically everywhere(my favorite messages are simply Your Beautiful or God loves you but you can do any inspiring Christian messages on your post its) Then every time you go in a public restroom put one on the mirror so any girls feeling down can be inspired by your message! This project I made is called the YBP or your beautiful project! Also you can put these post-its on your own mirror if you are ever feeling down. I have 11 post- it notes on my closet mirror they say
What God Says...
1.That trials create spiritual endurance
2.that he loves us no matter what
3.do not gossip
4.to pray about everything
5.to love the enemy
6.that I am loved and worthy
7.to work enthusiastucally
8.to trust in him always
9.that we are beautiful because he created us
10.everything happens for a reason
11.we should be giving and selfless
Whenever i walk by my mirrors these stickys remind me how to live my life according to God's standards
Another thing that improves the way I live my life is I write down a really long list of Jesus' characteristics and every month i pick one to work on and this helps me to strive to be more like Jesus. This month accept the challenge of trying to be more forgiving.
I am going to end this little bible study with a verse that really goes with our theme
"God does not see us as humans see us. Humans look at outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
1 Samuel 16:7
Remember your self worth, your self beauty and that God created you in his image and I love every one of us but God loves you even more than I do!

New Segment: word of the week
Hey my lovely blog followers,
Alert! Alert! I am creating a new blog segment called Word of The Week Have you noticed that in the bible most verses use the same key words over and over? Well in this segment we are really going to dig deeper into the Bible and find the true meaning of those words according to our Bible
Our first word is Faith:
What does the Bible say about faith?:
"Faith means being sure of the things you hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it."
Hebrews 11:1
1 Corinthians 16:13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong
Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly
What does faith mean to you? Comment down below what you would say to a non believer if they asked you what faith was!
Love you!!!!
-Ash
P.S If you like my blog and want email alerts sent to you every time I post something new so you do not have to keep coming on the site to check just contact me and I will subscribe you!

Swagbucks & Cool Apps to play with friends
Hey everyone... theres this awesome website called Swagbucks online and it is truly amazing you will love it like sooo much. Okay so basically it is a system where you earn virtual cash (Swagbucks) but with those you can buy real things from the Swagbucks store. They have everything from jewelry, school supplies, video games, iPads, and my favorite gift cards. Each item costs a different amount of Swagbucks. You can earn Swagbucks by
1. just simply making an account earns you 50 SB ( a 5 dollar amazon gift card is only 500 SB)
2.searching the web. You can download the Swagbucks toolbar onto your computer as you search engine and every time you search you have a chance to win Swagbucks
3. Taking surveys- surveys can earn you anywhere from 2 SB- over 1000 SB
4. Paying games- they have some awesome games on there and each time you play you have a chance to earn SB
5. daily deals- they offer promos such as signing up for a website, ordering things online, or even downloading coupons on to your grocery store savings card can earn you SB
My favorite one is number 2 because I search the web anyway why not have a chance to earn Swagbucks which basically turns into real cash over time!!
Also if you do decide to sign up every time you win from searching the web they match the Swagbucks and put it on to my account so when you sign up enter my referral link
http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Luv2sing333
The website is
www.swagbucks.com/
And I really am not just trying to get your referral thing it truly is an amazing website that I use every day that will pay off big in the long run by doing simple every day things you already do!
Love ya
Ash
P.S
There is a cool free app I just got called Draw Something. The app gives you 3 choices of what to draw an easy option a medium option and a hard option. The hard option earns 3 points the medium 2 and the easy 1. You play with other friends that have the app and they try to guess what you drew. If they guess it right they get a number of points. Whoever has the most points at the end of however many rounds the game is wins!
Another cool app Scramble With Friends its not really like words with friends at all but it is way more fun than any of the other "With Friends" apps:)
My username for both apps is Luv2sing333
so common, email,me or text me if you get any of the papas and what your user name is for them. I can't wait to play with all of y'all
Love you again!!!! Sorry I posted zoo much I had a lot on my mind and sorry if there are any grammar or spelling errors I am typing fast and do not really want to go back and make all these changes so excuse the bad grammar.

New Blog Im in LOOVE with- Dancing for Jesus
Hey girlies,
One of my amazing Christian friends and my faithful blog follower Loren Campbell created a new blog called dancing for jesus. This blog is a Christian blog and a dance blog, but even if you are not a dancer you will still love it! She is just getting started blogging and would really love it if some of you guys can follow her or at least check it out but as I said she is just getting started so keep checking it out every week as it gets better!
Here is a copy of her first post
Hey everybody! Thanks for checking out my blog. First of all I want to tell you guys to check out my friend Ashley's blog. It's called Pray LOVE Live. Here's the link: http://luv2sing-mypre-teenjourney.blogspot.com/ So make sure u guys read her blogs too because she is amazing and I love her and so will you!
Ok so next I just want to tell you what to expect from this blog. It's a Christian dance blog but anyone is welcome to read it of course! And some of the things I'm going to do on this blog are give dancing tips, put up links to videos of amazing dancers, just chat about the latest dance news, and more! But most of all what i want you to get out of this blog is; just like everything else in our lives, we do this for christ. So let's get started!
Ok so this first video may seem to go against the morals I just mentioned. It's a competition dance to Single Ladies by Beyonce. These girls are only seven years old but they are amazing. Their costumes and dance moves are a little mature but if we look past that, we can really appreciate this dance and the amazing talent in these girls! I'm so excited to show you guys this video if you haven't already seen it! Here's the link. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=ir8BO4-7DkM
This blog is going to be a little different than the rest because it's the first one and I'm still getting used to everything. But I'm hoping to put a blog up twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Also, something I want to do each week is set a goal; one for dancing and one for God.
Dancing GOAL of the Week: Do 100 releves at home every day to strengthen my ankles.
I hope all you dancers out there will attempt this goal with me! You can change the amount to better fit your abilities. My God goal will be up on Wednesdays. Thanks everyone for checking out my blog! I have plenty more coming your way! See you on Wednesday Please subscribe!
If you want to check her out heres her link

Just wanted to let you know that means a lot to me and that is just an amazing Christian thing to do. You will get an extra jewel in your crown when you go to heaven for being this kind of amazing friend to me. Love you girl!!

Sing for the lord
Hey Girls,
In church worship I always feel a little uncomfortable singing. As much as I love to sing it still feels a little awkward so I usually just quietly mouth the words or very softly sing them but, when doing my devotions I learned big lesson: dont be afraid to sing out the Lord's praises. When we sing for the Lord he enjoys it and who doesn't want to please the Lord. How would you feel if at your birthday party people quietly sang Happy birthday or just mouthed it. Not so good but if people sang loudly and with energy for you it would make you feel honored, same with the Lord. So during church, youth group, or even at home in your room SING for the Lord. He created you and sent his son to die for you we should just do him the smallest favor and sing for our great God.We shouldnt feel embarrassed to sing for our Lord. Obviously everyone else at church loves the Lord. So inspire the shy quiet girl to join you in belting out song for the Lord!!!
Scripture:
Psalm 96:1
Sing to the Lord a new song;sing to the Lord all of Earth
Psalm 92:1
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High.
Psalm 105:2
Sing to him, sing praises to him, tell of all his wonderful works.
Isaiah 12:5
Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth
2 Samuel 22:1
David sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

Only one wish....
If you had only one wish what would it be
Unlimited super powers, riches, beauty, love, more wishes...... Anything!
God tells us that if we had only one wish we should chose the greatest thing that could ever happen to someone..., to get to LIVE in Gods kingdom eternally! So next time your asked if you could have one wish what would it be thats the best wish that could ever be granted
Verses about heaven
Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
Philippians 1:21-23 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.

Colossians 3:1-7
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
Happy Valentines Day Girlies... hope you spread all your looove to others today:)

Great Books
Hey girlies,
I just finished some amazing books that you should definitely read if you haven't already!
Heres my favorite books of all time ( in order of greatness)
The Hunger Games:
To make the summary short, this takes place in the future when North America is a country called Panem. It's made up of 12 districts. Every year the country holds what is called "The Hunger Games". Every district sends a boy and a girl to represent the district and they all fight for their lives. The Hunger Games are televised for everyone else to see. We follow Katniss as she represents her district and tries to win by being the last one alive
I know it sounds kind of bad but its the best book ever!
The Help:
Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, Skeeter is a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends' lives -- and a Mississippi town -- upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families. Aibileen , Skeeter's best friend's housekeeper, is the first to open up -- to the dismay of her friends in the tight-knit black community. Despite Skeeter's life-long friendships hanging in the balance, she and Aibileen continue their collaboration and soon more women come forward to tell their stories -- and as it turns out, they have a lot to say. Along the way, unlikely friendships are forged and a new sisterhood emerges, but not before everyone in town has a thing or two to say themselves when they become unwittingly -- and unwillingly -- caught up in the changing times.
Mysterious Benedict Society:
Four children, Reynie Muldoon, George "Sticky" Washington, Kate Wetherall, and Constance Contraire, pass a series of tests advertised in the newspaper and meet Mr. Benedict, a man trying to stop something known as "The Thing to Come". Mr. Benedict sends them to The Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened (L.I.V.E.), where they meet Ledroptha Curtain, a man trying to take over the world using subliminal messages.
Radiance:
Riley Bloom left her sister, Ever, in the world of the living and crossed the bridge into the afterlife—a place called Here, where time is always Now. Riley and her dog, Buttercup, have been reunited with her parents and are just settling into a nice, relaxing death when she's summoned before The Council. They let her in on a secret—the afterlife isn't just an eternity of leisure; Riley has to work. She's been assigned a job, Soul Catcher, and a teacher, Bodhi, a curious boy she can't quite figure out.
Sean Griswold's Head:

Challenge for this week
Here is a challenge for you! I know you can do it.
Whether at school, the store, extra curricular activities, wherever the challenege is to make friends or be kind to someone who isnt very popular, or gets made fun of, or is lonely, or sad, or doesn't know Jesus. You don't really have to full on preach the word of God to them but just be friendly and that will witness for him just as well as preaching the gospel. Here are some verses that inspired me to do this.
"Live in peace with each other. Do not be proud but make friends with those who seem unimportant."
Romans 12:16
"But before people can ask the Lord for help they must believe in Him, and before they can believe in Him they must hear about Him, and for them to hear about the Lord someone must tell them"
Romans 10:14
" How beautiful is the person who comes to bring good news"
Isaiah 52:6
"Yes, I try to fins common ground with everyone so that I may bring them to Christ"
1 Corinthians 9:22
" In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing"
Ephesians 2:10
But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.”
Jeremiah 1: 7-8
So there it is be kind to all to the enemies, to the geeks, to the popular snobs, to your teachers, to the lunch ladies, to the janitors, TO EVERYONE for that is what the Lord commands us to do.

Prayer and the new verse of the week
Sometimes I find prayer really overwelming. i have so many things to thank God for, to ask him for, to praise him for and I get so overwelmed but as I was reading my Bible today I found some verse that I love. It is an actual prayer that God says is an example for how your prayer should go and I loved it.
Dear Our father in Heaven,
may your name always be kept holy. May your kingdom come and what you want to be done, here on Earth like it is in Heaven. Give us the food we need for each day. Forgive us for our sins, just as we have forgiven those who sinned against us.Do not cause us to be tempted but save us from the Evil One. The kingdom, power, and glory are yours forever.
Amen
Matthew 6:9-13
So basically, all worries that go beyond this prayer he already knows and will take care of them!!
Here is the new verse of the week that I found also in Matthew. I love that Book of the Bible:)
If you love only the people who love you,you will get no reward and if your only nice to your friends you are no better than other anyone else. Even those who do not know God are nice to their friends.
Matthew 5:46-47
I like this verse because it is sooo true I am always nice to my friends but sometimes when it comes to my family the people who love me most I am not as nice as I am to my friends so this verse reminds me to be nice to EVERYONE!
Proverbs 3:5-6
